2004 , marked the 50th birthday of Barlanark-Greyfriars church and many of it's organisations.
Our friends at St Jude's also celebrated their 50th at the same time.
A number of events took place during the Jubilee and they are listed below.
- Family Ceilidh & Fireworks Display - Sat 31st January 2004
- Sunday 1st February 2004 - All Age Family Service
- Adult Dinner Dance in October at the GESH Hall in Garthamlock
- Family Christmas Ceilidh
- A Display of the History of the church and it's organisations
- Community Bowls Tournament organised by our Men's fellowship
- Improvements to our Kitchens with a view to having a drop in cafe once a week
- Improved Disabled Access and Toilets
- Open Air Songs of Praise service Sunday 29th August.
- Alpha Course - - 13 week course in basic christianity
